Zezi Coffee - Looks Good on Camera, Abysimal in Execution

When you look at it on Google Maps, this place looks good at a glance: nice view, outdoor area, large cool indoor with live music stage, spread out barista bar, and clean minimalistic look.

In actuality? This place is the definition of poor management.

Once you sit down, the thing that immediately obvious is that the place is dirty. I came in the morning, but not terribly early. 10 AM, to be exact.

The worker should have plenty of time ahead of the opening schedule to have this place thoroughly cleaned. Yet used plastic straw cover, dust, and obvious smoking mark made this place seem unkempt to me. Surprising, since it was less than 3 months old by the time I visited it.

And also, the AC is not cold enough. whether because I sat next to outdoor window on the east side in the morning, or because the setting just wasn’t cold enough, it was warm enough to get me little bit sweating. Again, it was 10 in the morning.

The coffee was, the only way I could say, lucky it was cheap. Taste is so-so, probably a mix of robusta to save cost.

The most disappointing menu out of the 4 items I ordered is the matcha latte: They advertise it as “Ceremonial Grade”, yet not a single hint of nuttiness nor subtle taste. Or simply, it’s “cheap-tasting”.

All in all, not recommended.
